Martin Firestone grew up in rural mid-America and has travelled widely since. Those years gave him a habit he has never lost — looking at an accepted explanation and asking what else might be true underneath it.
He spent forty-seven years in business before retiring to write. What he writes now takes risks: the improbable, argued carefully enough to seem possible, and occasionally likely. Three separate bodies of work pursue the same question from three directions — the world we build, the nature we come from, and the self within.
